In Oslo, the organization Ukrainians in Norway held an event to commemorate the tragic anniversary of the Holodomor-Genocide of 1932-1933.

During his speech, Chargé d'affaires  a.i. of Ukraine Ihor Holovchenko spoke about the dialogue with the Norwegian side on the recognition of the horrific crimes of the totalitarian Soviet regime as genocide.

He stressed the importance of Norway's recognition of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people for the restoration of historical justice.

The participants honored the memory of the innocent victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 with a prayer and a minute of silence.
