Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Norway Oleksiy Gavrysh took partparticipated in a demonstration organized by the Ukrainian community in Norway to commemorate the Day of Defenders of Ukraine.

In his address, the Ambassador emphasized the heroism and resilience of Ukrainian soldiers who defend the country’s independence every day. He stressed that this day serves as a reminder of the high price the Ukrainian people are paying for their freedom.

“I sincerely thank the defenders of Ukraine for their courage and self-sacrifice. Your bravery is an example of true service to the Motherland. You are fighting not only for Ukraine but also for peace and security throughout Europe,” the Ambassador emphasized.

Oleksiy Gavrysh also expressed gratitude to the government and people of Norway for their solidarity and support, which strengthen Ukrainians in their struggle against Russia’s full-scale aggression.

On this day, the Ambassador also visited Ukrainian servicemen receiving medical treatment in Oslo. He thanked them for their dedication and courage in defending Ukraine’s freedom and independence and wished them a speedy recovery.
