Cyan Studio in Oslo hosted an exhibition of Norwegian journalist and photographer Torgrim Halvari “Ukraine: More Than War” on December 5-12, 2014. Visitors could contemplate more than 50 photos taken in Kyiv, Odesa and Kharkiv before armed conflict in eastern Ukraine. They show the Ukraine different from current media trends. An auction took place at the end of the event where people could buy their favorite pictures and the money earned would go to support children in the town of Antratsit.

Ukrainian community in Oslo prepared a number of events in the course of exhibition: a concert of pupils of Ukrainian Sunday school, a workshop of making motanka-dolls, a lecture on cultural differences between the Ukrainians and the Norwegians, a presentation on life and heritage of Taras Shevchenko, as well as lecture on photo- and video works by O.Finger.
