Ukrainian community in Oslo arranged a documentary film “Zhorna” (the Millstone) show to commemorate victims of Holodomor in 1932-1933 in Ukraine.

The audience discussed history, facts, causes and consequences of artificially created famine as well as international community reaction and planned mourning events in Ukraine. Modern pressure on our country and chauvinism were condemned too. Participants paid their tribute to the innocent victims and lighted a traditional candle.

The Embassy extends its gratitude to the members of community and impartial people for preserving memory of starved to death in Ukraine.
