Norway will continue to support the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, its pace of reforms and multiplication of achievements in the field of anti-corruption policy and transparency. This was stated by President of the Storting (Parliament) of Norway Tone Wilhelmsen Trøen during a meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.
"I am glad we meet again after I visited Ukraine four months ago. Since 2014, the Parliament of Norway has been actively working with the Ukrainian Parliament. And I want to commend the results that have already been achieved, especially in the context of transparency and the fight against corruption," Tone Wilhelmsen Trøen said.
In turn, the Prime Minister emphasized that Kyiv praises Norway’s position. "We thank for the support of our Euro-Atlantic and European aspirations," Volodymyr Groysman added.
