Supporting people’s initiative, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko declared February 20 the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes as a tribute to courage, will power and fortitude of citizens who managed to change the march of history and sacrificed their lives in the course of the Revolution of Dignity (November 2013 – February 2014) defending the ideals of democracy, human rights and freedoms as well as the European future of Ukraine.

In Norway, Ukrainian community in Bergen with state flags and Heroes’ portraits held a public event on the central square of the town. In Oslo, “Prayer for Peace” on 15 languages, including Ukrainian, was held at St.Olaf’s Cathedral on 21.02.2015. Struggle for real sovereignty and European choice of our country goes on.
