End of autumn 2014, first ever printed edition of the “Norwegian-Ukrainian Dictionary” was presented in Kyiv (15000 entries, 260 pages).

A thorough study by Mr.K.Burkut became a valued achievement for national lexicography and an important contribution into development of bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom of Norway, especially in humanitarian area.

The edition enriched publishing experience of the editorial house “Academperiodyka” and favored its image as a respected center of academic book-printing. We are convinced that the Dictionary will gain popularity among those who just commence learning our languages and will arise mutual interest in studying Scandinavian and Slavonic languages.

We wish National Academy of Science of Ukraine every success in opening cultural diversity of the world and promoting Ukraine’s achievements as a part of common heritage.
