Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to 2014 laureates on December 10, in Oslo City Hall. They are children’s rights defender from India Kailash Satyarti and girls’ education leader Malala Yousafzai (Pakistan).

The decision was proclaimed on October 10, 2014. World’s mass media point out that it was granted to the representatives of the countries which are in a long-lasting armed conflict. Malala is the youngest award winner in its history.

The ceremony was attended by the Royal Family, government and parliament members, diplomatic corps, famous and prominent persons.
