Yulia Paevska “Taira” spoke about Russia's crimes during her visit to Norway

During her visit to Norway, Ukrainian servicewoman, paramedic and volunteer Yulia Paevska (Taira) took part in the event “Ukraine Today: Occupied Territories and War Crimes” organized by the NGO “Ukrainian Community in Norway”.

From her own experience, she spoke about Russia's crimes against humanity, systematic violations of international humanitarian law and the rules for the treatment of prisoners of war by the Russian occupiers, and Russian propaganda and disinformation.

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Ukraine Ihor Holovchenko emphasized the importance of further support of Ukraine's partners in the fight against the Russian aggressor. He thanked Yulia Paevska for her extremely important mission to tell the world the truth about Russia's crimes.

Arve Hansen, representative of the Norwegian Helsinki Committee, spoke about the work being done by the Committee to document Russia's war crimes in Ukraine and emphasized their massive and targeted nature.
