On 12 August 2020, the Embassy of Ukraine in Norway has arranged preliminary online negotiations between the top management of the Ukrainian holding UFuture, its group of IT companies ITernal and the leading Norwegian consulting company Pivotic Consulting, as part of the efforts aimed at fostering business links between Ukraine and Norway.
During the web-meeting, the the companies’ teams shared their successful experiences and interesting cases of implementing projects in various spheres, presented their key competences and discussed the most promising areas for further cooperation. As an important outcome of these preliminary talks, the companies have agreed not to limit their future cooperation to IT sector and consider possible joint activities in other spheres, such as construction and energy. The participants have also agreed on follow-up negotiations to discuss their cooperation in more detail, including the possibility of launching several innovative projects.
Ambassador of Ukraine to Norway H.E. Mr Viacheslav Yatsiuk, who also participated in the
web-meeting, shared his confidance that future cooperation between UFuture Holding and Pivotic Consulting will become another success story in the context of dynamic growth of the Ukrainian-Norwegian partnership. H.E. Mr Viacheslav Yatsiuk reaffirmed the readiness of the diplomatic service of Ukraine to continue practically support companies at the initial stage of their business relations.
The last few years have seen a considerable positive dynamic in Ukrainian-Norwegian relations, including in the economic sphere – a noticeable growing interest from Norwegian business in Ukraine’s economic potential is a confirmation to that. High potential of the Ukrainian IT sector attracts particular attention of the Norwegian business circles. Strengthening business relations between Ukrainian and Norwegian IT companies not only enhances bilateral cooperation through new projects, but also promotes mutually beneficial activities in new areas.
