The Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce held its annual General Assembly dedicated to informing the Norwegian business community about the latest developments in Norwegian-Ukrainian cooperation.
More than 70 participants of the event included the Minister of Trade and Industry of Norway, the Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization, the Chairperson at NUCC, the Director of the Department for the Nansen Support Programme for Ukraine at Norad, the Finance Director at the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark, the CEO of BDO, the Head of department at Eksfin, the Managing Director at NUCC, the Senior Programme Coordinator at IOM, the International Partner Manager at Come Back Alive, and the representatives of dozens of Norwegian companies.
Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Ukraine Ihor Holovchenko delivered a speech at the opening of the event. He drew attention to the economic challenges posed by the ongoing Russian aggression and informed the attendees about the current state of the Ukrainian power system. He also called on Norwegian business to further analyze the opportunities that are opening up in Ukraine, and invest in Ukraine's reconstruction.
