On 2-4 February, Charge d’Affaires a.i. of Ukraine Ihor Holovchenko paid a regional visit to Trondheim, where he met with representatives of the Ukrainian community and the Mayor of the city, and delivered a speech at the annual conference of the Trondheim International Rotary Club.

During the meeting with the Ukrainian community in Trondheim, the discussions were held on the topical issues and ensuring the rights of Ukrainian citizens, challenges in employment and education, and interaction with local authorities.

In a conversation with Mayor Kent Ranum, Ihor Holovchenko raised the issues of providing the Ukrainian community with premises in Trondheim, facilitating access to the labour market for Ukrainian citizens, and establishing interregional partnerships with Ukraine.

In his speech at the Rotary conference, the Head of the Embassy informed in detail about the course of the Russian aggression against Ukraine since 2014 and answered the questions of the audience.
