The leaders discussed the efforts needed to achieve a just and lasting peace, paying special attention to the development of a joint position and reliable security guarantees.

The Head of State thanked Norway for all the assistance provided to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion and for the increased support this year. Our state expects an increase in defense assistance throughout the year. This can ensure Ukraine's strong position.

In addition, the parties discussed funding for Ukrainian weapons production, including long-range missiles and drones. Norway already invests directly in our domestic defense industry. The President and the Prime Minister agreed to continue this cooperation. 

The meeting also addressed the strengthening of air defenses, energy support, and assistance in arranging shelters.
