The Ambassador of Ukraine to Norway Oleksiy Gavrysh was welcomed by the President of the Storting of Norway.

The President of the Norwegian Parliament emphasized the friendly nature of bilateral relations with Ukraine and assured of Norway’s readiness to continue supporting Ukraine within the framework of the Nansen Program.

Oleksiy Gavrysh emphasized the resolve of the Ukrainian side to develop economic and investment cooperation, including in the defense sector. He thanked the political parties of the Storting for their unity regarding Ukraine and countering Russian aggression.

Masud Gharahkhani confirmed the Parliament’s readiness to ratify the updated Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and EFTA countries as soon as possible.

The parties discussed joint projects to support Ukrainian refugees in Norway.

The Ambassador of Ukraine proposed the Norwegian side to strengthen cooperation aimed at preventing the destructive influence of Russian propaganda.
