Oleksiy Gavrysh presented his Credentials to the President of Iceland Halla Tómasdóttir as non-resident Ambassador of Ukraine to Iceland. The Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude for all the assistance Iceland has provided to Ukraine in its fight for freedom.

During his trip to Reykjavik, Ambassador Gavrysh also met with the Prime Minister, the Speaker of Alþingi, the Foreign Minister and the Chairman of the Alþingi Foreign Affairs Committee, as well as representatives of the Ukrainian community and business in Iceland. They discussed deepening and enhancing cooperation, particularly in the economy and energy sectors.
