The Ambassador of Ukraine Oleksiy Gavrysh visited the Ukrainian School “Kobzar” in Oslo, where a thematic event dedicated to Ukrainian Christmas traditions and national cuisine took place. The event brought together students, teachers, and parents in a warm, festive atmosphere filled with the spirit of Ukraine.
The Ambassador greeted young Ukrainian children, among whom are those whose lives have been drastically affected by Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. He wished the children a happy childhood and a peaceful sky.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the school’s head Tetyana Lutsyk and the teachers for their efforts in developing Ukrainian education in Norway and for preserving the Ukrainian language, culture, and traditions among the children of the Ukrainian community.
The children prepared handmade Christmas cards, which will be send as greetings to Norwegian friends, partners, and everyone who supports Ukraine during this challenging time. This symbolic gesture became a sincere expression of gratitude and friendship between the Ukrainian and Norwegian peoples.
