Ambassador of Ukraine to Norway Oleksiy Gavrysh met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway Espen Barth Eide.

They noted the particularly friendly nature of bilateral relations, built on mutual trust, long-term common interests, and security needs.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Norwegian side for the comprehensive assistance provided in the energy sector. The next support packages in this and other sectors, in particular transport, were discussed.

Agreements were reached on the development of cooperation on Arctic issues, scientific research, and support for Ukrainian citizens in northern Norway.
