The Ambassador of Ukraine to Norway Oleksiy Gavrysh attended the international design and interior exhibition Oslo Design Fair 2025, where he participated in the opening of the Ukrainian national pavilion.

In his speech, Oleksiy Gavrysh thanked Norway for the unwavering support and expressed confidence in building a dynamic partnership between our two countries, including in the fields of light industry and furniture manufacturing. The Ambassador emphasized the significant damage inflicted on the Ukrainian economy by the full-scale war and highlighted the key role of the private sector in its recovery and strengthening.

The Ukrainian pavilion was the result of collaboration between the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the Lviv Furniture Cluster, with support from the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Norway and the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development.

Eleven Ukrainian brands specializing in furniture, lighting, ceramics, and urban design presented their products, namely: Fix Union, WOWIN.UA, Tivoli, Woodsoft, Pikart Lights, LYS, Tyrson Ceramics, Buryachova Design, MYCH.Objects, 4Corners and Kaplun Global.

The opening ceremony concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the Lviv Furniture Cluster.
