The Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce held its annual General Assembly, dedicated to informing the Norwegian business community about the current state and prospects of Ukrainian-Norwegian cooperation.
The event gathered over 100 participants, among whom were the State Secretary of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries of Norway, the Head of the Department for Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Regional Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, the Chairman of the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, the International Partner Manager at «Come Back Alive», representatives of NORAD, Norfund, the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance, as well as dozens of Norwegian and Ukrainian companies.
Ambassador Oleksiy Gavrysh during his speech at the opening of the event drew attention to the economic challenges caused by the ongoing Russian aggression. At the same time, he emphasized the significant prospects for the further development of Ukrainian-Norwegian cooperation, in particular in light of the updated Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and the EFTA states.
«One of the most impactful expressions of solidarity is doing business in Ukraine. And we are deeply grateful for this. Nothing builds trust like joint investments», - said the Ambassador.
Oleksiy Gavrysh emphasized that today Ukraine and Norway have everything for the dynamic development of our bilateral economic relations.
