On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Norway Oleksiy Gavrysh participated in a demonstration organized by the Ukrainian community in Norway to show support for Ukrainian defenders. The event united the Ukrainian community, Norway’s friends of Ukraine, and all those who support our country’s fight for freedom and independence.

In his address, the Ambassador congratulated the servicemen and servicewomen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their professional holiday and expressed gratitude to all defenders for their courage, dedication, and resilience. He emphasized that it is thanks to their daily sacrifices that Ukraine continues to fight for a peaceful future and the restoration of justice.

Participants in the demonstration honored the memory of Ukraine’s fallen heroes with a moment of silence. Words of gratitude were expressed both to those who gave their lives for Ukraine’s freedom and to those who continue to defend the country on the front line.

On the same day, Oleksiy Gavrysh visited a Ukrainian serviceman undergoing medical treatment and rehabilitation in Oslo. He met with the wounded defender and expressed words of support and gratitude.
