Starting from 1 August 2020 Ukraine’s Border Guard Service officers will ask all foreign citizens and stateless persons entering Ukraine to present an insurance certificate that covers COVID-19 treatment (this requirement is not applicable to the citizens of Ukraine, foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in Ukraine, refugees and persons in need of protection). The insurance certificate must be issued by a company registered in Ukraine or foreign insurance company which has a business partner in Ukraine.
