President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre to discuss bilateral cooperation and provide updates on contacts with partners.

The Head of State spoke about his meeting with Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon and Minister of Energy Terje Aasland. The President noted that Ukraine received an important signal of support from the Norwegian Government.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also expressed gratitude for Norway’s financial assistance. This year, Ukraine will receive nearly USD 8 billion. The President asked to increase the share of this amount for the production of drones in Ukraine. Jonas Gahr Støre supported this proposal.

Special attention was given to coordinating steps with partners. The Head of State shared details of yesterday’s phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump and European leaders. The Prime Minister assured that Norway, on its part, will make every effort to help end the war and achieve a just and lasting peace.
