Event: Solidarity March «Norway together with Ukraine»

HOSTS: the Ukrainian Association in Norway, the Norwegian-Ukrainian Friendship Society and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Norway
February 24th, 2023, marks the anniversary of russia’s illegal and genocidal invasion of Ukraine. People in nearly 100 places all over Norway will be showing their solidarity. The event will include short appeals by among others the Minister of International Development Mme. Anne Beathe Tvinnereim, Mayor of Oslo Mme. Marianne Borgen and Former Prime Minister Mme. Erna Solberg. A torch procession will walk past the Ukrainian Embassy to the Nobel Peace Center, approx. 25 minutes.

Event: Concert on the full-scale war of russia against Ukraine
TIME: 24 February at 19.00 – 20.30
PLACE: Bergen Cathedral, Bergen
All income from the concert (where there will be a collection on Vipps 90720) goes to the Ukrainian Association in Bergen, which, among other things, collects money for medical shipments to Ukraine.

To mark one year since the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine we bring to you an event highlighting the possibility for justice after the war. Among the speakers is Oleksandra Romantsova, the executive director of Center for Civil Liberties (Nobel Peace Prize laureate 2022), Astrid Bergmål, State Secretary, Ministry of Justice and Security, Sofie Høgestøl, Associate professor at the UiO and an expert on international law, will take part in the discussion. Other speakers are TBD.
