Solidarity marches in support of Ukraine were held throughout Norway (cities of Oslo, Trondheim, Stavanger, Os, Levanger, Kristiansand, Kirkenes, Hønefoss, Drammen, Bergen, etc.) In Oslo, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, the Governing Mayor of Oslo, the Charge d'Affaires a.i. of Ukraine to Norway, a number of Norwegian politicians and Ukrainian soldiers who are undergoing medical treatment in Norway spoke in front of the Storting. Ukrainians and Norwegians reminded the world that the war is ongoing and that Ukraine needs help, especially weapons, to win. A minute of silence was held to honor the memory of those who have fallen as a result of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

In the Norwegian capital, the flag of Ukraine was raised near the Storting, the Oslo City Hall, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the embassies of the EU member states, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The residence of the British Ambassador to Norway was illuminated in blue and yellow colors. In this way, Norway and our partners demonstrated their solidarity with Ukraine.

A number of Norwegian politicians and government officials expressed their support for Ukraine. Leading Norwegian media outlets published an Op-Ed by the Prime Minister of Norway, a joint Op-Ed by the President of the Storting of Norway and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and an Op-Ed by the Chairman of the Conservative Party of Norway. A video address by the Prime Minister of Norway and a joint statement by the heads of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry and the Norwegian Ministry of Defense were published. The Storting hosted a breakfast meeting with the participation of the President of the Storting, Charge d'Affaires a.i. of Ukraine to Norway, and Executive Director of the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the Red Cross, UNICEF and the Ukrainian community.
