On 12 December 2018, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Norway organized a premier screening of the Ukrainian feature film "Cyborgs: Heroes Never Die" directed by Akhtem Seitablayev.
During the presentation of the film, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Norway Viacheslav Yatsiuk noted the special relevance of the demonstration of this film in Norway in view of the latest act of the Russian aggression against Ukraine in the Kerch Strait. "Ukraine continues to fight for its freedom and independence, while protecting the European security order and common European values. Therefore, Ukraine is counting on the strengthening of the international solidarity in countering the Russian aggression," – Viacheslav Yatsiuk emphasized. The Ambassador of Ukraine also called on Norway to join international efforts aimed at releasing Ukrainian political prisoners and prisoners of war held by the Russian authorities.
Hans Petter Midttun, a former defense attaché at the Norwegian Embassy in Ukraine in his remarks at the opening of the event emphasized the high professionalism of the Ukrainian servicemen and their dedication to defending their country that he witnessed on his numerous trips to the eastern regions of Ukraine.
Premiere screening of the movie “Cyborgs: Heroes Never Die” was attended by representatives of Norwegian political and business circles, members of the Storting, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the Norwegian scientific and cultural spheres, and members of the Ukrainian community in Norway.
