President of Ukraine had a meeting with Prime Minister of Norway

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with Prime Minister of Norway Erna Solberg.

The Head of State informed the Prime Minister on the developments in Donbas, the attempts of Russia and its controlled militants to escalate the security situation in the region, as well as the violation of human rights in the occupied Crimea.

The parties highlighted the importance of maintaining sanctions against Russia as an efficient mechanism for motivating Russia to fulfill the Minsk agreements.

The President informed on the course of large-scale reforms in Ukraine. The Prime Minister praised the efforts of the Ukrainian authorities and assured that Norway would continue to provide support for Ukraine on the track of profound transformations.

Petro Poroshenko accepted the invitation of Erna Solberg to make a visit to Norway in 2016.
