Dear compatriots!

Today is the 24^th anniversary of proclaiming the Declaration of state sovereignty of Ukraine.

Approval of the given document has become a powerful boost to the revival of Ukrainian independence, demonstrated our primordial willingness to be masters on our land and clearly outlined the historical choice of Ukrainians – to create an independent, democratic and lawful state.

Most of the provisions of the Declaration are fundamental for the development of modern Ukraine and form the basis of its Constitution.

The power of national spirit and unity in crucial historical moments helped us overcome all difficulties on the way of building and strengthening the statehood.

At present, our country is going through the ordeal. But I firmly believe - Ukrainian people will give a decent response to all challenges. We will win. Sovereign and united Ukraine will become a modern European state - wealthy and powerful.
