On March 14, 2014 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Norway Yurii Onischenko had a meeting with the Vice President of the Norwegian Storting, a member of the Norwegian Parliamentary Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Ingjerd Schou (The Conservative Party) and the Deputy Members of the Storting O. Kristin (The Conservative Party) and Morten Wold (The Progress Party). During the conversation with the Norwegian parliamentaries particular emphasis was made on the deterioration of the situation in Crimea caused by Russia’s military intervention, the growing number of the Russian troops in the Crimea autonomous region that block Ukrainian military bases and together with the so called “Crimean self-defence” organize various provocations and public order offences among the recent victims of which was the filming crew of the Norwegian television channel NRK, the preparation of “the referendum.”
