Oleksiy Gavrysh was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Norway by Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 218/2025 dated April 7, 2025.

Graduated with honors from the Donetsk National University of Management with a degree in "Management of Foreign Economic Activity" (bachelor and master's degree). In 2025, he received a second higher education in the field of energy at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.

Oleksiy Gavrysh has over 20 years of professional experience in the fields of energy, financial and strategic management. He began his professional career in the field of foreign economic activity. In 2022, he became a Chairman of the Board of LLC "Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine" (Naftogaz Group).

In 2024, he was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC "Zaporizhtransformator".

During 2023–2024, he was an advisor to the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Oleksiy Gavrish is a lecturer in financial management at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, author of the course "Financial Literacy for the Military".
